Cycling

I have ridden the bicycle for several months. I like this activities on account of be healthier. I have extra class about English. I need to go to English teacher’s home once week on Saturday minoring. Almost, I go there by bike. It just cost me 1 hour to teacher’s home.Through biking, I benefits from this activity.

Leisure time is important to all of us , for everyone needs time to relax. As a student, I spend most of my time in the classroom attending lessons. So it is all the most necessary for me to have a Chang in order to refresh my mind and renew my energy. Cycling actually improves my ability to study. Through cycling, I can get more exercise and build my body. Good health contributes a lot to success.

For one thing, Cycling can make us strong, prevent us from getting too fat, and keep us healthy. Cycling can be of great value to people who work with their brains most of the day, because it gives people valuable practice in exercising the body. What’s more, cycling makes my life richer and more colourful. Just as the saying goes, “All work and no play makes Jim a dull boy.” So people enjoy taking part in various kinds of sports. Cycling is also useful in character training. They demand not only physical skill and strength but also courage, enthusiasm and teamwork. Once, I returned home with my classmate. I was so tired to ride bike. I had about five hundred away from my home. I wanted to give up, but my classmate kept encouraging me. She told some stories to me, I focus on her story instead of thinking weariness. To my surprise, I persisted in cycling 3 hundred meters.

In my opinion, cycling fits my lifestyle. I like saving whatever time or to the environment and biking is also healthy for my body. the disturbing troubles like waiting for ages to get a subway ticket or undertaking increasingly price of oil for your own car will be gone. it is obvious that bicycle can be associated with a more healthy concept. Almost all muscles through the whole body are taking movement when you are taking a bike. It is an excellent choice to keep healthy in cycling. as most people's thought, the remarkable merit of bike cycling might be that it is environmentally friendly(no noise and gas emission). Meanwhile, bike cycling, as a mean of transport, is getting more and more fashion in some west countries. it represents a more convenient, economical and environmental idea, particularly in big cities, where the huge number of cars are crowded.

One of my personal goals is to lost weight because over weight would cause hypertension, diabates and so on. Most members of my family have diabates, so I need to pay more attention about this kind of illness. However, cycling has some limitation, for example, rainy day, windy day, and so on. In addition, we should be attentional during cycling because the grounds would not be flat and it would be easier for people to fall down from the bike. Even though there are some limitation, I would keep cycling for benefits from it.

Religious Service

I went to the church with my classmates on December, 13th in 2008. This church locates on the Mochou Road and opens from 7:00 to 10:30 a.m. I chose this church because Christmas was coming and I wanted to enjoy attending the church hence I never had this experience before.

I knew that the Christian churches include the Roman Catholic churches and the Orthodox churches and the Protestant churches. All Christian churches believe in God the Holy Father and the Holy Son Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit,because God created the heavens and the earth and the all thing and the human beings in the beginning.And the Christian churches believe people can only be saved and be justified by their faith in Jesus Christ because Jesus Christ died on the Cross for our sins.Christians read the Bible and go to churches on Sunday.Christmas was the birthday of Jesus and the Good Friday was the death day of Jesus and the Easter was the resurrection day of Jesus.

In general speaking, I do not like this experience. It was so boring because I can not hear and understand what people who was standing on the stage saying and doing. I knew they played several short performances and some people were singing the songs. I noticed that people around me, except my classmates, were so quiet. I thought that we can not talk during performances. The biggest reason was that I do not believe the religion. Maybe belief can encourage people, but I prefer trusting myself.

Sending newspaper and typing

Sending newspaper

I had volunteered to send the newspaper for the elder between the dates of twenty-second of January, 2009 and twenty-eighth of February, 2009 for six hours. It was an interesting journey.

First, I should put all the newspaper and magazines in order. It seemed a easy work, actually it was so dirty and hard. The poster advise me to wear a pair of globe. Next, I sent the newspaper with the poster. We travelled all the elder’s house and inserted the newspaper or magazines on the doors or letter boxes. Then, the poster let me send the rest newspaper. I hold rest newspaper and put it into the Little box. However, it was not easy because I only have two hands. While I kept the balance between the newspaper, I should insert with strength. Finally, I spent two hours on sending newspaper. I though I only spent half an hour dong whole work before starting working. After working, I found it will be easier for two people to finish doing than one people doing.

The poster told me that he must get up early everyday because the newspaper can not pile up like a little hill on the desks. The leader from Beijing or some places would come here and it would give them a bad impression. In addition, the elder lived there get up early and wanted to read newspaper as having breakfast. The poster sacrifices his personal interests, but benefits others. The value of devotion that he owns worth learning.Whether any job has its unique meaning.

Typing

I had volunteered to type for the place of Nanjing Cadres of self-cultivation between the dates of twenty-second of January, 2009 and twenty-Fourth, 2009 for six hours. I practised my skill of typing and learned much new knowledge about “Word”.

There were many people who were born in 70s and they seldom used computers in Nanjing Cadres of self-cultivation. In other words, they were weak in computer, especially typing. I was glad to help them with typing some articles they needed or making charts. I found I can not press the key correctly. I did not remember the positions of keys clearly. So, I stopped typing and start to remember right key positions as soon as quickly. After doing it, I restarted typing. To my surprise, I typed fast than before. It saved much time for me.
I tried several times to make a right chart, but I always lost. I was so strange about it. I thought the reason was some functions I never use them. I took my mothers computer book and searched information about chart. Providence did not let down a man who did his best. I knew what wrong was.

My mother’s words recalled me that we would use computer to have provincial tests. Therefore, we need to type well and try our best to avoid mistakes. This was a chance for me to practise my typing skill and I learned we ought to be attentional when we did one thing. If I am good at typing, I will be a typer in the future. It is a good choice for me.
